MES EBR connectivity to Formulation machines at FAT stage

About Project

CYBERLYNK enabled offline MES Electronic Batch Record (EBR) functions at an Irish customer site to be executed in real time at a vendor FAT location in Germany. This allowed critical pre-SAT integration testing to be completed earlier in the project, accelerating production readiness by 4 weeks.

The Challenge

MES-driven formulation processes are typically carried out during Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), once equipment has been delivered to the customer site. This approach limits early visibility of integration issues between MES and formulation equipment, increasing project risk and reducing commissioning timelines.

The CYBERLYNK Approach

Using CYBERLYNK, offline MES EBR functions were executed at the Irish customer site, and securely transmitted in real time to formulation machines at the vendor FAT location in Germany. This enabled SAT-level integration testing to be performed during FAT, without requiring changes to existing customer or vendor systems.
